Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour – 2 ½ cups
  • Pork or chicken Bouillon granules (or, pork or chicken broth/stock) – 1 tsp

How to make

Mix and dissolve the bouillon in hot water and add the other ingredients. After this, knead dough and roll it to make it ½ an inch thick and cut into slices. Tips

  1. In case your dog is sensitive to wheat, you can use regular flour, or even oats.

Take a bowl and mix the parsley and mint together with the flour. In another bowl, mix the honey and olive oil and combine this well with the previous mixture. Add the egg and mix again.   • Egg yolks – 2
  • Boiling water – 1½ cups

How to make

Add the pork cubes in boiling water and dissolve them. Mix the flour, cornmeal, yeast and powdered garlic together in a bowl. Pour in the yolks and mix again, adding the bouillon water, stirring constantly (to avoid lumps). Now make a hard dough ball and roll it to ¼ inch of thickness. Cut this into different shapes using a knife or cookie cutter. Transfer these into a greased cookie paper and bake inside your oven (preheated to 375 degrees F). Bake for around 20-25 minutes, until you find the biscuits brown enough to be crispy. When done, switch off your oven and leave them inside for a few hours. Your flea-repelling cookies are ready to serve!
